Boxee Box - D-Link

So, I found a bit of a question here http://www.amxforums.com/showthread.php?6668-Inexpensive-Movie-Server/page2 regarding the Boxee, but there were no follow-up posts. Does anyone have any way of controlling/polling /etc the Boxee Box from DLink (D-Link)? USB -> Serial port? Telnet?
