NXR-ZGW Firmware upgrade throught Virtual Master

Does anyone ever tried to upgrade a NXR-ZGW through a Virtual Master?

I have this unit with firmware 1.1.20 and i want to upgrade it to v3.xx BUT i don't have an NI master available and i am trying to do it via Virtual Master.
Although the unit comes online and the file transfer starts, it has no progress at all. It waits in 0 byte transfer and after a while the unit goes offline...

The connection is via LAN cable directly to my laptop.

Any ideas?
