Hi,

Doles anyone haev a new driver for CoolMaster?

now it supports a higher baud rate so the refresh can be much faster

    "The latest CoolMaster firmware (2.5.8) supports selectable baud rate. The Baud rate of communication with the CoolMaster can be selected for up to 115000. Higher baud rate enables faster communication with the CoolMaster, what can provide a faster feedback and screen updates on the Home Automation touch screen controllers."

    Can humans really detect the difference in arrival time of a couple characters for temp and status update between 9600 baud and 115000? I would think not.

    Its a little bit more complicated...

    The thing is, that in those air conditioning systems (like Daikin, Mitsubishi, Hitachi etc') you may have many indoor units in the project. Satus quering takes time.

    And usually when there is a change done in the air conditioning side, the customers wants to see the change on his AMX screen as soon as possible. In this case each second makes a significant difference
