Heatmiser V3 Protocol

Has anyone ever integrated any of the new heat miser thermostats into a control system?

I got on ok with the old protocol, but now a customer has added a few new thermostats and they are on the new protocol (http://www.heatmiser.co.uk/web/index.php/docs/finish/14-custom-integration/11-v3-protocol-document) which has a CRC check which I can not figure out how to handle at the moment.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :-)
