Comcast Pace) RNG-110 cable box IR

Two questions...

First, does anyone know which XCHM mode these boxes want? That is: do you select a channel with digits only, digits plus Enter, etc.

Second, amx.com claims that COMCAST3.IRL will work with this box. Can anyone confirm or deny?
