NXD-500I Issues and USB

Hi Everyone,

Got a new NXD-500i here, i'm trying to connect it via USB to a virtual netlinx so I can transfer the files, but i'm not getting a green light.

The panel has a different set-up to what I'm used to, it won't let me switch to USB, just insists on being set to 'auto' and says it will try all connections.

The USB IP is set to 172.16.0.2 (2 is the only number I can change) and my PC is set to the same, but number 1 (have tried other numbers)

I can ping the device, but it won't show up under the 'tree', even though I've changed the system number. It also won't show up in TPD4!

Any ideas?

Also, we're getting quite a few of these fail, they just stop powering up - most are under warranty, but is this an issue AMX or anyone else is aware of?

Forget it, it's too complicated to get it working in USB, why don't you connect it with a network crossed cable to your PC ? you setup a static ip in it, same in panel, virtual master in studio or TPDesign and go
