MVP Site Survey Button

Hi,

I got 2 set of MVP 7500, both of them can't connect to wifi. The site survey button is in grey color. Is it any other way i can force the panel to connect to wifi?

That feature is not available on the old B cards.

Yup, if the survey button is greyed, it's go t a B card in it. You'll have to manually set them to connect without using the survey feature. B cards are also limited to WEP, so you can't use them on a WPA network. It's possible you can upgrade the card to G, but I would call AMX first to makes sure they are compatible with the 7500. I don't see why not, but the firmware diverged at some point with the 8400's and there is a chance they are not.

FWIW, the old 802.11B cards are notoriously flakey and the G card is well worth the upgrade if reliable operation is desired.
