VNC over SSH into a Touch Panel

Is this supported? I'm guessing no, but thought maybe someone has figured something out...

The only way I can think of doing it would be putting a gateway computer with ssh server running, so you can ssh into the gateway and vnc out the other side to the TP. But that's just stupid.

I might be able to patch firmware in order to allow this. There is an SSH server in at least the 8400 firmware but it isn't set up for end user use.

That would certainly be awesome. A university have requested it, as they've had problems with unsecure VNC'ing before.
