R4 ir sending

can a R4 remote send IR codes directly to a device? without ir cable from a netlinx controller?

The R4 is Zigbee only and cant send IR direct like some MVP panels.

Only the R1 is an IR remote and that only uses AMX IR commands, not third party codes.

thanks, i was missled by somebody. I have read the all the documentation, and found nothing. i needed a confirmation.
