Adding a slaved controller?

I currently have an NI-700 running as my master controller. Is it possible to add an NXI controller with the NXC-ME master ethernet card into the fold as a slaved controller?

There isn't really master/slave with Netlinx...

just set the NXI system number to 2, and add the ip of the "slave" (NXI) into the "masters" (NI-700) URL list

Technically, it's not slaved, but you can pretty much get the same effect. Once the masters are talking to each other, you can define its devices on the other. It then acts as a passthru of sorts to those devices.

If it is for your house or test lab you could always pick up an Accent3 on ebay for cheap and put it into slave mode, which is what I did for my home.
NI-700 -> Accent3
All you have to do is change the Accent3 master ID number to something other than one and it goes into slave mode and they can be found for around $100.
