MVP 8400

Hey everyone, just wondering if a MVP 8400 should show signal stregnth from a wireless source even if it's not the one intended to use. For instance, here in the shop we have wireless. The MVP doesn't even show a signal strength. I would understand not showing connected, but i figured just like a laptop the device would recognize that there is a signal out there. Any thoughts?

    The signal strength on the Wireless Settings page will be for the access point (if any) that the panel is currently configured for. However, you can see all the access points visible to the panel in the Site Survey page. You can also sort by signal level in there.

    FYI, in the next release of MVP8400 firmware (coming out in the next week or so), you will be able to see the signal strength in dBm.
