ENV-VST-C Humidify/Dehumidify

Do the humidify/dehumidify functions of the ENV-VST-C do anything? I have adjusted setpoints to values that should start the processes, but nothing occurs.

I'd be curious to find an explanation of the humidify/dehumidfy logic. There is nothing in the manuals.
