ViewStat 422 module

Hey All,

Does anyone out there know if the module handles the theremostats being on a system other than 1?

I have code that is known to work with the thermostats on a disti-box, with the full 64 thermostats while the device numer is [5001:x:1]. I currently have the disti-box plugged into [5001:3:2], I can see the string data coming back via the input buffers, but the moduel is not returning anything. Strings, channels or levels.

I'm going to swap it out to [5001:2:1] tomorrow as a test, but would like to know if I'm confined to system 1.

Any other ideas?

I have used Viewstats on systems with various device numbers. 5001:3:0, 196:1:0 off an Axcent 3, etc. As long as you define the physical device properly, I don't know of any device numbering constraints.

I re-read your question. If the stats are on a remote system, you may have to have the module running on that system as well. I've seen notifications not come back unless there is a DATA_EVENT on its local system.
