NXT-CV7 Calibration Problem

Our client has a NXT-CV7 that we installed a couple of years ago. It no longer holds its calibration after being powered off. We can re-calibrate it and it works fine until power off again. All the other panel menu info is held ok so I'm not sure why just calibration is lost. Is there a battery backup I can swap or is it a lost cause?

Calibration data is stored in a EEProm. It does not have a battery backup. Verify from the setup pages that the serial number is still readable. The MAC address is also stored in the EEProm and can be verified from one of the tools pages, or an external router.
Granted, reading and writing are different operations, but if those are not readable, then calibration will definitely not stick.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to determine the root cause, or to programatically push the calibration data to the panel on boot.
If you're *really* curious, you can enable debugs (msg on all) from the telnet port, then calibrate, and see if there are any errors when it completes (ie write error logged).
