MaratGillMaratGill Junior Member
I have a problem: after our local network was connected to internet, the MVP-8400 panel started to hang periodically.

There are following components in the system:
Controler: NI-2100 firmware: v3.41.414
Tuoch panel: MVP-8400 fimware: v2.70.8
Wireless point D-Link AP-2100

I've had issues with Dlink (and other manufacturers)

One option would be to switch off UDP Broadcasting and also set the NI2100 to 10Mb rather than auto.

how do you go about doing that? i am having the same issues and i've read about changing something to 10MB/half instead of 10/100 IIRC?

Telnet into master, type "set ethernet mode 10 half" (no quotes), then reboot.

Here's a description of the command:

    "set Ethernet mode "

    Sets the Ethernet mode.

Valid cmds are 'auto', 'speed', or 'duplex'.

Valid speeds are '10' or '100'.

Valid duplex is 'half' or 'full'.

Reboot is required for the changes to take effect.
