Escient Vision IR control??

Hi all,
I have an Escient vision in the field that im tired of getting complaints about so i tried to switch to IR control--this was an absolute nightmare. Not a single IRL file i tried worked. Is anyone out there using a vision server they are controlling via IR? I even tried creating my own IRL file, exporting hex files from my RTI library (which works)--and not only does it not work it fails the IR Edit verification... i even used the "official" Escient hex spreadsheet & even AMX tech support says it fails IR Edit verification & cant explain why.. WTF!!!
