Hughes HR-20 TCP/IP Control

Has anyone programmed a HR-20 to be controlled via ethernet? Is there protocol or is this just for something else.

Depends if they are using the same box as DirecTV. The model number is the same. There are a few threads and and external link to the DirecTV serial protocol.

I'm guessing that box really says "DirecTV" on the front and not Hughes...

In any case - no - no IP control at the moment. Just RS232 via USB adapter.
