OT: Chumby?

My boss showed me the $180 chumby today and my first thought was - if you put VNC on that puppy, you have one heck of a cheap touch panel.

Has anyone seen or used it? The developer community seems to be fairly open. You can upload your own widgets to the community I think. At this time, there are no VNC widgets for the device, but I suspect one could be written.

I can't be the first guy to think of this, so does anyone else have any more info?

I've seen them before, and almost bought one. But figured I didn't have enough time to play with something my wife inevitably would want on her side of the bed.

Cool little device to be honest and no . . . you're not alone.

We bought one but I haven't had much time for playing with flash. I will post when I have a working sample
