    There is a command line compiler. In fact, I would guess that even NS2 uses the command line compiler.

    Very cool. I was unaware that nlrc existed. I'll likely start using simply file transfer instead of the complete studio. I already use a telnet program to monitor most messages. NS2 still does a few things that you can't do elsewhere, although they have added many other features to the web interface as well.
