PLB-AMP8 Loses Presets

G'day All,

I have a PLB-AMP8 that appears to be not recalling it's power up preset.
When I power the amp up, with a relay that connects and disconnects the AC power,
the amp comes on with quite a high volume level.
If I recall preset 0 (the power on default preset), the volume changes to that preset.
If I power down and power back up again the volume returns to the loud state.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Any help much appreciated.
