How to reset sys pages on "save as dfft panel type" TPD4 file?

I'm sure someone's dealt with this but I can't find any thread.

We have a job w/ lots of dfft panel sizes/ratios. We want to keep a single TPD4 file and manage the few page variations in code. All works fine, but when we save as dfft panel type in TPD4, it scales the sys pages too and they look bizarre. Is there anyway to send just sys pages - separately from user pages?
