i am new on AMX and netlinux, i wonder to know how can i link up 4 ni to the same system??


any one can give me a tips...

(a) Give each one a unique and static IP address and attach it to your network. (Attach via serial, "set ip")

(b) Give each a different system number. (Connect from NetLinx Studio 2, Diagnostics / Device Addressing)

(c) Clear the URL list in all units; set the IP addresses of the other three in the URL list of just one of them. (NS2 Diagnostics / URL Listing)

Now each one can see each of the others.

Is there any pros/cons to have three controllers with number four in their URL List to on controller having an URL List with three controllers in it?
