MIO ELITE SL users

I am looking for any input or sample code for the MIO ELITE SL. Since it has a LCD, it looks like it can be a better approach for an audio keypad. I am assuming you can customize the source names and program the basic functions: Channels Up/Down, play stop, next/previous track, etc into the LCD menu. I am planning to use 6 of these in a new project and would appreciate any input, and if possible a sample code before I order them. Thanks.
