Controlling Precis Switcher

Has anyone controlled a Precis LT Component Video Switcher with out using an NI Processor? In other words controlling the switching of it using an RTI remote and learning the Hex codes into the Remote and then converting that signal so that it can be sent into the RS-232 port on the switcher.

    you still would need to use an RTI RP-6 or something to send out HEX strings :|
