Our installer had a unique problem, perhaps it was just a fluke, but the polarity was backwards on the bug - where the black was positive, and the white wire was negative; opposite from what it has normally been.

Has anyone else seen this or could this have been just a fluke?

    Yeah, we had about 20 NI2000 installed on a job recently and about 3 of the IR wands in all had the wires reversed... Very annoying but easily resolved (still, it shouldn't happen)

    Just put it down to bad eyes!!!
