Gefen IR codes

I tired to learn 4x4 HADI matrix remote control with no success.

AMX IR learner don't recognize it, and also with RTI learner - no success....

is there any way to use those codes in IR?

I tried to enter this codes as discreet codes, but I got format error.

I got this link from Gefen Support after asking for IR code, they are saying this is what everyone is using and should be no problems...

For really stubborn IR captures, I've been pretty successful if I capture them first on something like a Pronto or one of Universal's learning remotes,then re-capture that with my IRIS. The IRIS hasn't changed in years, and it's both finicky and sensitive to common changes in IR remotes in more recent years. I've found by a large margin, the most difficult to capture codes are from remotes that stream IR as long as you hold the button down, and these are getting more and more common. If you have a good sense of timing in your own head, you can make an effort to pulse those buttons exactly the same length of time to get them to capture, but it can get very frustrating. Newer capture devices don't seem to be as sensitive to timing, and don't output that way either, making them good intermediary devices to use to capture the tricky stuff.

This is what I tired to do with RTI capture hardware, with no success too...

this remote is very stubborn ...

We also had the same issue with the IRs.
That unit has rs232 with very easy commands.

We don't have a free serial (NI3100)

But I managed to learn it with the RTI and to use the code in the IREDIT

I am attaching it just in case that anyone will need it

BTW - how can I add it to the AMX InConcert?

Call RTI and talk to Brett.

They are usually pretty good about capturing difficult remotes in a timely matter. The engineers throw it on the scope and email an RTI library file to you with the codes. Then you just need to copy&paste the Hex values into IrEdit.

... or ... use the 232 control that was just mentioned.
