What Mode?

Hi all
I was wondering what would be the better way to set up my Modero panels?
Should I set them to 'listen' and put the panels URL into the master, or set them to URL of the master. If I set the panel to URL of the master do I need it's URL in the master? If both URL's are entered, what if any issues may result?

I set them to the URL of the master. (Mode: URL)

Nope.

Don?t know about that one. I imagine bad or no results, I doubt that it?s good.

thx's Joe, I have them setup like this now. I have some that drop offline and I'm just playing around trying to find out why.

Sure thing, Thomas. If you figure out why, fill us in. I?ve run across the same problem, mostly with MVP-8400s.

I?ve been told by people in the know to configure the NI Master with the following:
Route mode direct
UDP broadcast rate off
Ethernet mode 10 half

And the touch panels:
Master Connection Mode: URL
Ethernet Mode: 10 half duplex

Just check that the NI has a value for the gateway set correctly. That is, even if you don't have a gateway, make sure that a value is entered on the same subnet as the master IP.

You will get disconnection issues if you don't....
