Multi-Tenant Access Systems

Anyone familiar with a Multi-Tenant access system that plays well with others? The currently spec'd system is by Aiphone, but the manufacturer has indicated that it is a completely proprietary system that does not allow integration nor interaction with any other systems (control or phone). We would like something that will provide tenants with a standard video feed (Composite is fine) and interaction with either standard telephones or a phone system.

How about making your own using "i" series TP's. If the lobby is heated and resonably secure put a TP in it for listing and calling tenants. Mount some sort of fixed camera above it and maybe a few others to view the all aspects of the lobby. Use Keri-System door locks and card or proximity readers for tenant access. Then AMX is your door system otherwise what could you actually do with it, push a button to release the door. Sounds like the intent is to have AMX in every aparment so use the IP intercom feature possibly provide inter-tenant communications as well.

I haven't much more than just heard about it, but AMX has a product designed for "Multi-Dwelling Units:" http://www.amx.com/products/HomeManager.asp . It's a software package, but there has to be some hardware it is meant to work with.
