MVP 8400 dead

After trying to load a TP4 file from VA the program said that I have to upgrade the firmware to V2.62.1 befoe it would finish loading the file. Before I was able to find out what needed to get the firmware the MVP went dark with the top right blue light staying on and a slight flicker on the black screen.
I just oder the upgrade Compack Flash with V2.62.1 on it and it does the same thing. If I remove the batteries the blue light will flash 6 times and then the screen goes black.
MVP is like brand new and was working fine until I tried loading the TP4 file.
Thanks
Bill

If you changed the CF with a new firmware, and it still doesn't light on, I suspect a hardware failure
