Any experience with Modbus?

Hi everybody!!

I'm trying to control Meitav card for Electra air conditioning unit. This card communicates via Modbus protocol.
When connected from my computer, I can control it (read and write data) with "modus poll" program, but not with Modbus AMX module (i downloaded it from AMX.com cite).
I'm using only the AMX Modbus example and it doesn?t work.

Any missing elements that should be defined in order to solve my problem?
Has someone try this before?

Toshiba TCS-NET Modbus Integration with AMX , Toshiba TCB-IFMB640TLE

I have a site where the client wants to integrate with the Toshiba TCS-NET modbus via RS -485. Does anyone have a modbus module for this device.

Do i need to get a modbus interface gateway to AMX or can i control it directly.

Its also called threadjacking as well as crossposting. Are you trying to set a record for most etiquette rules broken in a single post? How about you write a module and post it here for us to use once you have tested it?

Toshiba VRF - RS232

There are 3rd party controllers that can provide you simple RS232 connection to the Toshiba. Why struggling with their original Modbus interface? (that also has huge delays....)
