AMX Programmer St. Louis (Generating Business)

I am currently working full time as a software engineer and working part time on the side as an Independent Programmer based out of St. Louis, MO. I have a computer science and computer engineering background with a passion for the AV industry. I am also CEDIA Installer I, InfoComm CTS, and AMX ACE certified. I am looking to take on more AMX jobs for dealers in and around the St. Louis Metro Area.

I have a question for the other independents out there. Do you do much advertising or how have you been able to generate business? Do you have any suggestions for someone fairly new to the industry to help get my name out there? Thanks!
