AVPs Regions

First of all, great to see a Max forum where all our experiences and questions can be shared in one place.

We 've just received and played with an AVP and noticed that it's not region free. That is a major problem for most of the world outside US and I hope it can be solved.

We 've also noticed that AVPs are only compatible with Max HTs. That's really a pitty because I have two customers with older Max systems anxiously waiting for them and I have to dissappoint them ( Not an easy mission! ). Am I correct about backward compatibility?
