Sony VC-C50i (or VC-C4) Camera's..

Anyone had any experience controlling mulitple VC-C50 camera's using the AMX VC-C4 Module?
I've got the camera set to VC-C4 emulation mode, but the control of it is dodgy at best.
Here are the problems i've encountered -- has anyone got a solution:
--- Camera addressing doesn't seem to work. Changing the Camera address the functions you send to the Virtual Camera doesn't seem to do anything at all.
--- Controlling multiple camera's? Does the module support this?
--- Loss of control when Camera loses power. When the camera is turned back on, it can no longer talk to the AMX unit, unless the AMX is restarted.
Anyone got any idea's?
Thanks.
