Let's exchange ideas on User Interface

Hi everybody.
I decided to share you my design for central heating system control. It mimics the look of the actual system (a pipe, a tap and radiators). In summer it doesn't function so the tap is off and the batteries turn blue (as shown in Summer.jpg). In winter the pipe is red, the tap is on and hot water circulates in the pipe (see Radiator Control.jpg). When the user wants to turn on a particular radiator he pushes the image of the radiator and it changes is't color from blue to red. When he wants to turn it off the opposite takes place.
Your feedback is appreciated.
I'm looking forward to your design samples.

G4 Sample
Here is a sample of a project I did a few years ago with a G4 panel.
I was so excited about the internal graphic capabilities.
This was for a company that manufactures water processing equipment.
Basically, when the panel wakes up, the user will press the buttons
on the main page to start or stop the system.
When the system starts, the screen fills up with moving water (accompanied by gurling water noises of course). I am actually just using a page wipe to
reveal a page that is running an animation with slightly different variations
of the water shadows and ripples, which appears as a motion background.
The motion background maintains throughout the entire operation of the system. When the system shuts down, the water appears to drain from tha panel display.
I really enjoy creating unique interfaces specific to a clients industry.
The G4 panels allow so much more than just plain old buttons.
