AXR-WAVES & AXR-NWS

Hi,
I've got a couple of VPN-CP Viewpoints and an AXR-WAVES Waveserver. The person I bought them from told me they were compatible. I can't get them talking to each other. Are the VPN-CP's only compatible with the AXR-NWS?

    Yep there had two generations of bi-directional Axcess ViewPoints !! The VPW-CP works with AXR-WAVES transmitter, the VPN-CP works with AXR-NWS. They are not compatible between them as it uses a different radio transmitter system !!

    VPN-CP was an evolution of previously VPW-CP (older models, less efficient).

    If I remember well it was not advised to mix both systems on same site as it could disturb themselves due to same use of frequency band ;)
