USB in Modero Viewpoint and CV7

Does anybody use USB port of Modero Viewpoint and CV7 for Keyboard and mouse control? Unfortunately, it is not plug and play. I hope that it will be changed to Plug & Play soon.

I used it for a mouse at one time. Yes, I had to reboot it first, but after that, it worked very well.
