Aprilaire Thermostats

Has anyone tried the new Java module for the aprilaire thermostats? I am wondering if the communication is more reliable. With the netlinx version, I had to be VERY careful about sending to many requests too quickly to the comm module or they would tend to be lost.

I was under the impression that a Duet Viewstat module was in the works by AMX, but that was back when Duet was first announced last year. I haven't seen it, and the things are futzy enough that they could use it.
