Products discontinuation

Dear Harman Team,
why should we get surprised about products discontinuation without an announcement in the official web site ?
In my case, I made a quotation including the Autopatch Precis audio matrix switcher and a DGX ENC-800 but I was informed that these products have been discontinued.
Especially the first one does not have any replacement while the second has the ENC-1600 which is more expensive.
Where have they been mentioned as discontinued products?
The below official links do not say something like that.

Are there much more products which appear available in the web site but actually have been discontinued ?
