Greetings,
Does anyone have the RS-232 protocol for the Yamaha YSP-5100 Soundbar? Google came up empty and I've been on hold with Yamaha support for over 30 minutes now and I beginning to doubt if a human will ever answer.
Thanks.

I think I may have the IR file if your rs232 search mission fails.

I have the YSP-1000 serial protocol basics, No feedback info.. Worth a try...
Attached file. View in EXCEL. Note that the command starts in column D. Command name in column B, number of cells to complete the command is the number in column C.
Any $x item is hex, any other is plain ascii. So $2 means hex 02.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I finally tracked it down and it's attached if anyone else needs it.

That is a mean, MEAN protocol. More like their programmer was sayin "I DARE YOU!"
