AKEYB and AKEYP from a VPT-CP

Should I be able to receive AKEYP and AKEYB data from a VPT-CP one-way remote, I can't seem to be able to receive them :(

    This is not possible! The VPT-CP just send RF channels on and off, it can't send any strings.

    The only way to emulate a keyboard from a VPT-CP is to create a panelpage where every key has it's own channel.....

    There is no data other than a Push/Release or Button Event generated by a 1-way Viewpoint touch panel. Sorry.

    Darn :-( - one would of thought that the panels could of transmitted a simple string, oh well, wasn't too important, just wondering why my attempts resulted in failure :)
