SNMP in the new NX masters?

One of our sales guys got into a measuring contest while trying to promote using AMX for a dealer's system and the subject of SNMP came up. So of course, now it's my job to either fix "SET SNMP" in the new NX masters, or verify we can emulate all the SNMP MIBs that "the other guys" support by writing a module.

So before I go searching my head for some remaining hairs to tear out... Is SET SNMP supposed to be working again in the new NX masters? I telnetted in and ran it, but it didn't seem to enable anything after the reboot. Am I just doing it wrong?
