Hey guys.
Just stopped by to check for activity and wondering what you guys are up to. Still with the GNX4 or what alternatives have you found?
There is a ton of hype out there, regarding new amp modelers, as you know but 3456 gave everything I could ever want in the GNX4.... I miss his forum contributions.
I now have seven GNX4s, 6 working/looking like new and 1 that has issues (future spares or repair)
It seems that so many of these units spent their past in someone's bedroom or home studio.
Just picked up my 7th unit last night for £80 ($120) along with a really nice Roland VGA-3 amplifier that I have yet to test.
I have the usual nice/expensive guitars but recently purchased a Peavey AT-200 (dirt cheap from Thomann.de). This is a self tuning guitar....talk about fun....I immediately bought a 2nd one! The only thing I don't like is the poor fitting battery compartment cover but I can easily fix that IF I decide to use batteries as opposed to the external PSU.
I have baffled fellow guitarists when I do such things as instantly switch from, say, open-D to standard tuning in the middle of a song....LOL.

from a convenience point of view,nothing beats a gnx4 yet
With the supermodels,its as good as it gets,the rest comes from your fingers and style,regardless if you using a Kemper,Axe fx or Line 6
I still pass through here now and again to see if theres any news
