Volume boost on GNX4

Ok started to use my GNX4 with my new 40C tube amp.

I was running it into the effects loop with amp, and cab modeling off just using for effect.

Is there a way to setup the expression pedal as a boost for solo etc?

Is it better to run this in the front of the amp etc?

Also seem the wah will no long click in. What do I need to look for.

I have RTM and from the way I am using it I am not sure or I missed this. So thanks for not helping.

read pages 22, 45, 48 and 104, then get back to us. BTW if you don't have your manual in PDF form, get it. That way you can search for something like say \"expression pedal\".
