I thinbk my unit is fried.
I fnd a great 12-strng guitar sound I liked and played with it.
I then turned it off and tried to connect it to my Win 7 computer and X-edit to save it.
Well it's pretty much dead.
When I turn it on it ;
1. Beeps on the computer as it is connected via USB.
2. Reads GNX4.
3. Provides version 1.4.
Then rapidly reads....\"Hybrid\"...and then ....\"Reading\".....then more computer beeps and
recorder display reads \"7\"
Main display is weird gobbldy gook
Lights on are:
mode
both pattern file lights and some over on record.
Is it fried?

Garboldy gook display is sometimes a symptom of bad power supply.
I checked it and it seems the transformer has died.
I'll try and get another of the proper V & amp output and see.

Mistake;
I thght the PSupply was ouput DC but it is AC. I checked that and the design ouput is suppose to be 9VAC. I measured 10.VAC output.
Question: Wld the over voltage cause tjise problem?
further exploration;
I held down the Utility button and booted up. It progressed to a sort of Tech mode. Diplay read \"Tech\".
Question:
How can I best get the repair/Tech manual for troubleshooting the unit and making repairs?
I'll search here as best I can.
