New Music (edited 12-25) shortened intro

The song post is named \"Trance Jam\"

Thanks for listening! And Happy Holidays to all!

  • nice guitar tone and very excellent mix.... did you record the tracks direct into Protrack plus?, or got all tracks recorded into the gnx4 trecorder? you have got a very well balanced sound....
  • Powerful, nice, very nice job. But I like synth and power cords and in that mix lies the simplicity of electronica and the complexity of finger dexterity.

    Johnlead,

Thanks for taking time to post.
I appreciate your notice of the tone and mix.
The recording was done in Sonar 8.5 producer edition, using about 4 instances of Sonars Rapture synth, and Session Drummer 3, which are all inside Sonar.

I use a GNX 3 , and also have Pod Farm and Guitar Rig 3 LE that I will use from time to time. Alot of EQing was done to help all parts to have a place in the mix. I took out all of the bottom end on the guitars which make them sound very thin to my ears on there own, but work rather well in a mix.

    Thank you for posting!
    Happy Holidays.
  • Good stuff as usual thatsastrat .. Anyone else I would've probably bailed.. as the intro seemed a bit long and to techno for my taste.. But once past the intro .. thatsastrat as usual.. 8) it is well done .. I thought maybe the rhythm prior to dropping out at 2:18 could've come down or the lead up a touch .. LoL \" you can do this, or you can do that! I think you do this, cuz it is where it's at\" lmao sorry for going off topic ... Good stuff mate thanks.. fer sharing , on a very quiet site..

    Rawb,
Glad you did not bail. I plan on chopping the lead in on this as you are not the only one that has mentioned that the intro needs to move along quicker and get to the meat. Hope the holidays are finding you well.

    Thanks again.
