Born To Worship

Hey all been a little while since I posted new Music. Here is a new old one :D I was given the Idea Lyrics a year ago, just would not come together! Anyhow song totally changed for the better I think (well, I know) The Lord brought this together in a couple of days & I think it is some of my best work yet front to back whole package of a song from Lyrics inspiration to mastering exporting MP3! Anyhow the Lord be glorified in my feeble attempt  Hope you all can enjoy! Let me know what you think? Thanks all! 8)

  • Partch,
Way to go. I will agree that from front to back, this is the best production to date you have posted. Keep it up.
  • Hey Partch, the was a nice production. I enjoyed the song and the message. Did you play that new strat you picked up last year? Liked that little lead picking at the end.

    peace

    Mike B.
  • Born to Worship! .. Exactly!

    Good stuff partch, thanks...
  • Thanks fellows! I appreciate the listen! Hope you all enjoyed it. Mike yes this was the new Strat for all Electric parts. The Sounds (Tones) Come from the Mesa 5:50 Clean, Crunch, and Blues for the Lead. No Burn ch for this song did not think it fit to well. The acoustic is my Ovation Miced up. It does have slight Chorus added in Sonar. Drums were Session Drummer within Sonar. Vocals as Always 2 tracks Lead & Harmony. All yeah I did try something different with Bass this time. It was not direct But Miced up Guitar cab with only 12\" speaker being driven by the Crate Power Block No Treble Or Mids Bass was at about 12 O clock. I like how it turned out! Sure an Actual Bass Amp would be better BUT I think that Swamp thing Speaker is pretty Bass heavy speaker at least to my ears so I may continue to take Bass tracks this way 8) Thanks again guys! 8) :D
  • Nice production and arrangement. The guitars sound great and so does all the instruments. However, you need some work on your voice. There were some notes not in tune. I don't sing in perfect pitch either and I do use a pitch fixer on my singing  . There are some like Melodyne that works great!
  • Hey thanks for the listen Vicente! Yeah though I like to sing quite a bit! well I'm just not that great Lead Vocal type guy  Anyhow I do it from the Heart for the Lord that's all that matters really 8) Thanks for the tip I'll have to give the vocal correction stuff a shot! Take care bro :D
  • Excellent piece.... nice tone, the very inner soul of a peacefully moment... i got it now on my itunes... thanks...
  • Partch, nice song, your voice is in tune with your heart and soul. It is perfect in its imperfection. Thanks for the very nice tune.
  • Nicely done. Worship music is not my thing, but I thought it was well put together. I thought the singing was fine, and especially liked your harmony parts.

FWIW, I have started to sing lead vocal on a few songs for my band. I'm up to three songs per night. My job, it seems, is to make the other guys sound so much better in comparison. Anyway, the guys noted at our last band practice that my songs have improved - which was a kind way of stating that my singing sucks less than it did before. So as far as I'm concerned, it's hats off to you guys that are out there in front singing your hearts out, in a rock band, country band, or worship band. Also, and this is just my humble opinion, sometimes the best vocal takes of our singer is not when he is singing \"perfect\", but when you can hear the emotion in his voice even though that might mean a note or two working around the pitch. Sometimes those slight imperfections are what are most memorable.

Thanks for sharing your music with us.
  • nicely done on the arrangements. the music does over power the vocal level on the mix i was hearing. i would like to hear the music just occassionally. The lyrics are great for worshipping.

gtaus and you both should look into a vocalist 4. Seriously. just put on the headphones and play your guitar into it and sing your new song and while trying out the 50 different presets. you will buy one I bet cha.

Again congrats to both you and Gtaus on your songs and performances.
  • I'm glad your still around Partch.
    I agree with DenSco.
I Don't care about imperfections in someones music.
Your efforts are outstanding my friend.
I liked it. You just keep going strong.

    Your old bud.

  • Praise the Lord Partch. See your still busy giving praise where praise belongs. Nice lyrics and a nice arrangement. If you keep working on your playing and singing, one day the Lords going to bring it all totally together for you and thats a good thing.

    Blessing, John
