Thanks for sharing. I have not heard of Dido White, so I guess I'll have to check her music out. I'm in a classic rock cover band, so I spend most of my time learning how to play songs I have heard for many many years. But thanks for the recommendations, and welcome to the forum.
Mile Davis..Kind of Blue..
The only thing I hate about is you would thing Miles could have gotten some decent sidemem..
John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Cannonball Adderly, Paul Chambers, Wynton Kelly, Jimmy Cobb.. You would think that with Miles rep he could have got some decent players....
Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. Their first 2 albums are still considered high in the top 50 rock albums of all time.
As far as Evanescence, I read an article in a guitar magazine that did a review on their first album. It read \"Remember back in high school? There was this girl who really couldn't sing well, but she always sang very loud? Now she sings for Evanescence.\"

I just found out my sons girlfriend is a good singer, but too shy to sing on any of my songs. Oh well...the show must go on.

It was beautifully put....it was simply elegant.
