Where are Guitar Pro files available?

Back a few years ago, I used to go to MySongBook.com for all my Guitar Pro Files. They got run out of business, unfortunately. Does anybody know if or where all those files can be found? I know I can find individual GP files, but I'm wondering if the content of MySongBook.com was ever transferred to some other site. Thanks in advance.

  • I look for Guitar Pro tracks at http://www.911tabs.com
There you'll find tabs on a lot of formats, including Guitar Pro.
    Have a Happy New Year!

  • Thanks, guys. I was aware of both of those sites, and for looking up individual files, they work great. I was just hoping that the MySongBook.com website database was able to relocate somewhere else. It was great to go into any artist and tag and download all the files at once on the old website. But they got closed down long time ago. Guitar Pro is a great program, but what really made it valuable was all the user files in one place on MySongBook.com.
  • I don't know if you knew about this or not but on the sites that just have the TAB in ASCII format you can import it into Guitar Pro 5 and it will read it and set it all up for ya. you can do that with pro tabs too. it is quite an awesome program I am loving it.

I did not know that. Will any guitar tab convert to GP5 format? Or are there special sites/tabs that allow you to import to GP5?
