Just a note to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving! Give a moment of pause for those not able to celebrate with you, and be very thankful for your life and freedoms even in some of the hardships many of us have faced.

    PS... I'm thankful I have hot water today (and every day.)

    The ole lady wakes me with Rawb,Rawb there's no hot water.. I'm like crap are you serious? She's like \"ya\"... So I grab a torch and head for the utility basement..I stare at the hot water tank for 5 min. and that didn't do nothing. (Which really bummed me out cuz usually it does!)

    So I reach out an barely turn the temperature dial... the burner fills with flame. I think ..uh thats wierd.. So I goes to the kitchen an turn the hot water faucet on, in 5 sec. there's hot water.. So I say \" hey honey looky there\" ..

    The staring worked! ... Thank GOD

    I envy you Rawb...your wife sounds easier to please than the one in the jewelry commercial who gazes adoringly at her man - when he's draping her with thousands in diamonds... :P

    Anyway. Wanted to wish ya'll happy T'Giving...a good day to count your blessings, in case you don't on a regular basis.
    Myself, I do it almost daily. I have to, to remind myself that things aren't as bleak as they appear. There's always something to be happy about and thankful for, just as there is always something to be UNhappy about. So choose your battles wisely and remember that life is what you make it.
    Whether Shania returns your phone calls or not. :lol:

    LOL.. That women in the add goes a couple daze without hot water, see how fast she trades them diamonds to my ole lady for her hot water! :twisted: LOL

    :lol: Hey Rawb, I got plenty hot water here buddy - because I'm in the 'outback' as tourists like to call it ( :roll: ) our water comes outa the ground and its hot as 20 shags with a nice smell of sulphur to it. It really clears out the sinuses very effectively in the mornings! This I can live with in winter for sure. Trouble is, its summer here now with 40 degree C + days and we don't have any friggin cold water! Even the tank water is nice and balmy. So if you like I will gladly do a swap with you....till the seasons change of course! :D

    Yeah, Happy Thanksgiving. Times have been better in my household, financially, but I still have enough money to be pickin' and grinnin'. Lots of other things to be thankful for, too. Best wishes.

    You live in a restraunt? I would think \"the middle of bloody nowhere\" wouldn't draw as much tourist $ as the Outback does.. :lol:
