Digitech RPs 3, 6, 7. . . Which should I get?

I'm in a shoegaze band that uses a lot of panning, reverbs, delays, and modulation in terms of effects on the guitar. I have a pedalboard full of stompboxes, etc... that I use for shows.

We are now switching practice spaces, and in that we are going to start doing headphone practices. I would like something that I can run through a mixer.

I was looking at used RP3s, bought one, sent it back since it was broken, and now have a little more time to decide (and investigate).

I'm looking to buy used and spend under $100.

I have seen RP3s for half that price and RP7s for just under $100. I'm wondering between the different RP models, is there a difference in the selection of modulation, reverb, delay, etc... effects? i.e. Does the RP7 have all the same effects as the RP3 and then some, or is it a totally different library?

I like that these models have expression pedals and are made of a heavy-duty, metal housing. I've shied away from some of the other RP models because of the plastic housing.

Suggestions on which RP unit to go for?

Thanks for the response. Anything else you'd recommend in the $100 range?

I've heard good things of the Yamaha Magicstomp MK2.

Magicstomps are pretty cool. Going around $100, you have other options as well. You can try an RP250 used, Johnson J Station (rare these days), RP255 ($149 new), Zoom G7 (not sure if around $100 used).
